    Please help me by taking your best guesses at the genders of my 3 chicks. 1 black silkie 1 white silkie 1 millie fleur. They are nine weeks old today (4/15/2012)

    As far as I am aware , silkies can't be sexed ( well unless your experienced at vent sexing) until at least 6 months old. Basically they either lay an egg or crow. As for the other chick I cant tell the glare is right on the comb.

    I've pretty much heard that with the silkies you wait for a crow or an egg.

    The other seems to be a pullet.

    The white silkie might be a girl, the black looks like a roo and the mille fleur d'uccle is a girl :)

    I thought so too. Don't know much about silkies, but the millie fleur struck me as a pullet.
