I had two eggs of a clutch of four hatch this am around 4am.
I have a third one that was peeping with no pipping for hours.
It made a small crack around 7 hours ago, and hasn't gone any further. It's peeping has almost slowed down to nothing.
Without interfering, I'm afraid it's going to die in the egg.
What should I do? Thanks!

Once a gosling pips it has broken the shell so it can breathe. It won't break the egg any further until the yolk is fully absorbed. So after 24 - 36 hours after pipping it should make progress.

Thank you so much! It is almost zipped all the way around, and the other two are dong what it did last night. I wasn't thinking about the yolk aspect. I assumed that it was absorbing as it was zipping.!
