please help!! really confused

I have a silkie who is the boss who was laying but suddenly stopped and stayed in her coop now no this is brooding can't see an egg in there though! But my concern is that I also have a barred rock who I thought was female but hasn't laid the other day I caught my barred rock ontop of my silkie. I'm very new to owning chickens they are 10 months and I really confused about them could any help what gender is my barred rock please

And I think thats a hen, at 10 months, if it were a rooster, it would be crowing.

Pretty sure that's a hen too. Her feathers all look round, no pointy roo feathers, and her comb and wattles aren't huge either. They probably just had a scuffle and the silkie might be stressed, hence the stop in egg laying. I don't think your BR is an actual or pure BR either. Looks like she could be a cuckoo marans or a BR or CM mix

Are you sure of the age of BR?. Legs don't have the blacker areas I would expect for a pullet, and maybe some saddle feathers? If younger than you think, could be a roo?

Perhaps it's a cuckoo Orpington?
