PLEASE HELP - SICK HEN

I have a hen who has suddenly taken ill.

She is about 18 months old and a brown hen. I had an egg from her this morning. I went out at about 3:115pm to give them some corn. I went to shut them in and she was laying on the floor.

I have brought her inside, put her in a box upright with a blanket.

Is there anything else I can do. She is barely moving and her eyes are closed.

I wish I had some good advice to give but I haven't a clue, not enough experience. I've got a sick, wobbly one too. Going to the vet in about an hour....I have no clue what's wrong with her either. I hope she gets better soon. I'm sending good thoughts out for her!

Do you suppose that any of the other hens (if any) jumped on her?

She deteriated badly. I took her to the vet and they put her down. Nothing more could be done. The vet doesn't know what she died off, but said she looked thin. She had been eating and laying up to today. RIP LAdy hen
