Hello, could someone please tell me what breeds these are. These two have taken up residence in the woods next to my house and they are inseperable. They are together every minute of the day and sleep in the same holly tree together every night. I was sure the white one was a hen until a couple of days ago when it started crowing. a weak stacatto crowing but definately sounds like crowing. The thing is it has no spurs. Could it be mimcking the rooster? Being that they are living in the woods I have not found any eggs but I don't have any idea what the habits of semi wild chickens might be.

    Thanks for any help

I'm not sure but they appear to be bantams from the picture. The darker colored one sure is pretty. Where are you located?

Lovely mixed breeds. Both are roosters.

Old English Game Bantam mixes, both roos,
I am thinking that the mostly white one is younger.
