This is Edith. I am not sure what breed she is. She's almost 6 months old. Very small. She was purchased from a local, experienced breeder. I just am not sure, but I think I got the breeds mixed up that I purchased from her as two day old chicks. I just grabbed four of the chicks she had left. She only sells bantams. Is Edith one of the OEGB or is she a Dutch? Thanks so much!

legs are the wrong color for a leghorn and the earlobes are not white, other than that I don't have a clue.

Although looking again, maybe the earlobes are starting to turn white.

I also need some breed identification help! Finally received my much anticipated order of assorted egg layer pullets (day old) from Ideal hatchery. One little black baby didn't make it :( But it was a long trip from Texas to Kauai. Anyway here are my pics. I have 9 chicks. hopeful they all survive, I seem to have gotten a pretty good variety [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

Best pics I could get of these active little babies while also making sure my two year old didn't get hold of any of them!
