One of my ISA brown hens infected with something. She had worms which I treated her for last weak and that’s when she played a shell less egg and I gave her Duramycin for 4 days with some calcium pills. She was better until yesterday when she had this long thing sticking out of her vent and she had become lethargic and drank lots of water. She kept throwing up when I picked her up. Should I isolate and maybe stop water? I’m taking her to the vet today but is there anything to do before to keep her alive.

If it were a soft eggshell sticking out her vent, it's possible the contents are still inside her causing infection. There isnt any treatment, not even antibiotics will stop an severe internal infection of this magnitude.

Ensure your birds have crushed oyster shell as free choice. You can give them vitamin D which helps with calcium absorption. Crush a few tablets into powder, then sprinkle on top of their feed as a top dressing in order for them to consume it.
