One of my hens ate a cylinder piece of plastic will she be ok

Not sure. We had a hen that liked to steal earrings out of people's ears. She got one of my pearl studs (little brat, it was a mothers day present!) and a short dangle earring of my dd. I expected her to die but she was fine. Hopefully yours will be too! I'd suggest keeping an eye on her crop. If it gets distended or engorged you might have a problem.

Most likely this will do your chciken no harm. Chickens have been known to eat a lot of strange things. Try to relax.
