Hey everyone this is my hen who is laying right now or at least she is the one i have seen im pretty sure she is a True Rhode island red if not maybe someone can help me figure out what she is and also if you think she will go broody judging by her breed thank you.

But is she the type of breed to go broody?

She is lovely! Our RIR didnt have lovely lacing like that, but I think that ours was just a run of the mill production RIR from a hatchery, if I remember correctly.

Next time, try sizing it down to message board size of 640 x 480.

Orpingtonlover.....I have 11 RIR ladies....they are a year old this spring. They have yet to even ACT like they will go broody. Just no interest. Now, my mother raised them when I was younger, and I seem to remember them hatching out...so...I dont know....but mine havent yet. Oh, and they better not now...I have 27 eggs in the bator!
