for my male turkey Franklin. We had to rush him to the vet today when he was unable to stand or even hold his head up. He is still at the vet now on fluids and dex... If he pulls through tonight they can actually look at him tomorrow... I am very very worried for him.

well talked to the vet today, he says franklin is able to stand and has eaten some. so he can come home. He thinks this is probably due to him being older... he is almost 3 and I know average lifespan for adult males is around 2-3... : (

But at least we will get to bring him home... he wont be able to go back into our beautiful turkey yard : ( Our vet really doest think he will llve to much longer so he wants us to keep him separated. But I have had animals surprise me so I am going to try and stay optimistic.
