Cochin experts, can you help sex these 4 chicks? They were hatched New Years Day, so 27 days old. Large Fowl, if that matters.

Not the best expert, but just guessing from what I have seen in Cochins before. #1 Rooster, #2 pullet, #3 rooster, and #4 pullet.

Hope I'm wrong tough and wish you luck for pullets.

I'd go with roo/pullet, pullet, roo, roo. Though I am no cochin expert, just an educated guess. When I first looked at this I thought you said "Please sex my 27 year old LF cochins" [IMG]

LOL, at all the answers (respectfully!). Yesterday I posted some pics of my ambiguous chickens and was very humbled by the result. Apparently sexing chickens is very very tricksy. I got some learnin' to do.
    Good luck!.
PS! pullet pullet roo roo sounds like a lullaby:)

I think #1 looks like my little cochin X roo did - he looked like that at about a month (no pink in comb), then this was him at about 8 weeks, where you can see the pink coming in. He's definitely a big ol roo now.. [IMG]
