My MIL gifted us with chicks. She ordered 10, we were sent 20 and a note from Tractor Supply that they were out of pullets so they doubled our order for free to give us a chance at more hens. I'm not sure if they're even Ameraucuanas (sp?) like they say. Is it too early to tell, or are those tails a dead giveaway? Only three have tails going down, the rest have them going up.

Send close up pictures of the face and tail feathers. That will be helpful for the experts. Im still learning but, my untrained eyes can see one Pullet.

How old are they? I don't see anything that screams cockerel but it's been a long time since mine were babies and the pic is kinda small.
