I know the pics aren’t great but does anyone know what these are? They are out in the day just crawling around. The chickens seem healthy and no sign of mites but I’m not sure what they are.

How many legs do those critters have? They go fuzzy when I try to enlarge.

They're not lice or mites. You're welcome. :)

No, seriously, they're not. The prominent antennae tell me all I need to know. They are not parasites.

The antennas are not lice and are doubtful to be mites.

They don't look like anything of a concern. You would only see northern fowl mites, flea ticks, and lice actually ON the chickens, or crawling within their feathers near their skin. Red poultry mites you would only see at night if you came with a flash light and actively tried to look for them.

I know... I’m sorry. I tried to zoom but it couldn’t get any closer.

Thanks everyone! Sorry the pics are so bad. I tried to zoom but they are so small the camera just goes blurry. Glad they don’t appear to be anything to terrible
