Please tell me this is not a roo(Barred Rock about 5wks)

I agree with everyone else, I say pullet.

The female barred rock chicks will have darker legs. The males will have less color on their legs and the color might have breaks in it down the legs. Hope that helps.

Sonoran is correct; there are some BR cockerels who are as dark as pullets, though, in the years I've been breeding them, only one has ever turned out to be a puzzler till almost adulthood. He is now owned by lockedhearts and we both went back and forth on the sex of that rooster for months; that is, till the saddle feathers finally appeared. He is, however, an exception to the rules, which work about 90% of the time to determine sex.
I'd say that is a pullet, though.
 
I can safely say Pullet. Looks just like mine... I've got 5 BR pullets and 2 cocks that are 7 weeks old now and your little one looks like my young ladies.
