Please Tell Me What Winnie Is!

    This is the angelic Winnie. Picked her up from Ideal on Monday with her 6 sisters. She's supposed to be a Standard Silver Laced Wyandotte. Her wing feathers are saying otherwise, IMO. Her shanks are dark, but her feet are yellow. Her beak is mottled. I'm confused! Please tell me what she is.

    she looks like my silver laced wyandotte, as they get bigger they will look more like them.

    this is what mine looked like when I got them, I just thought the face looked like mine.

    I got 3 with my order and they all 3 look pretty much the same, but slightly different... the faces are the same.

    Winnie looks like both your chicks in the face...maybe she really is a SLW...or not?

    mine came from mcmurray hatchery, I never ordered them before, but I ordered 2 hens and got 3 birds, hopefully 1 is a rooster. Mine as they got bigger they got to that stage where they had white coming out like your winnie does, I guess time will tell.

    Thanks for the opinions. No matter what she is, we'll always adore her. It would just be nice to know what she really is.

    I have some identical to her, someone told me that it was a black Austrolorp?

    This is getting more and more interesting...Either way, she's beautiful, huh? We're currently struggling with a slow crop, but she's really trying hard to thrive. She's very special to me!
