Pros: Lets see, so far my tom has not been aggressive toward me, even now during breeding season. The hen is laying daily. They are a beautiful bird. They dress out nicely, good flavor and a good growth rate for a non commercial bird.

Cons: Ummmm..... guess I'll have to get back to you on that one.

the only con I could even think about is the young hens don't like to stay in their area- I guess they are so curious they couldn't stand it. lol Once they got bigger they stay put now.

My ole Tom BR is a pet... Hmm I mean pest...

He follows me everywhere.. Maybe he likes when I rub his head.. [IMG]

The only aggressive acts he has taken is when I take my 3 and 5 gallow waterers out for cleaning and refilling..

He has some stupid ideal that he needs to jump and kick the crap out of them... [IMG] [IMG] Now that is scary... [IMG]

But as for me... He has never done anything as of yet to receive the stew pot...[IMG]
