Hi All!
I thought it would be fun to have a Plymouth Rock contest in honor of Independence day for this American breed. However, you will notice that the contest ends on July 9th, not July 4th. That is because I will be out of town until then. But that's okay. It'll still be fun!
The rules:
1. Only Plymouth Rock varieties are eligible, all of the different breed varieties, barred, cuckoo, etc. will be allowed.
2. Only adults will be included for judging, Roos and Pullets both eligible
3. I will NOT, repeat will NOT be using any kind of breed standard for judging, I'm going just by what I think is the most attractive bird.
4. There will be no award
5. Try to use pics that include as much of the bird as possible.
This is not a rule:
These are the friendliest birds in my flock (I named one of them "snuggles"), so I'd love to see pictures of friendly birds! It's not a requirement and will not affect judging, it's just fun.
Have fun!!
