    Hi Guys,

We have a Plymouth that is just over 3 months old now. I`m quite sure this guy is a rooster, however, i`m no expert and definitely not 100% sure. Just seeking a confirmation if possible. Any help would be great!

    Thanks!

  2. You have a Plymouth Rock or just Rock.

Since Plymouth Rocks are bred in a variety of patterns, this one is a Barred Plymouth Rock. It is a pullet. You should have eggs in another month or so.

Pretty little pullet. A cockerel at this age would have a large red comb, and be starting to get sex feathers--hackle and saddle--hanging down in front of the tail and from the neck. He's also be leggy and gawky looking, this bird is nice and rounded and feminine looking.
