Cocoa, my sweet Plymouth Rock chick is starting to look like a little roo. Just about 8 weeks old. What do you guys think?
And Honey is my RIR. Her comb looks a little big, but I have heard that can be normal for the breed. Also 8 weeks.
I only have 3 chicks, and cocoa is my favorite! I am keeping my fingers crossed that she is a she so I can keep her. No roosters in city limits!

Cocoa is too dark to be a roo, unless she's not a pure bird. Honey is looking very girly so far.

Both look like pullets to me. Keep in mind they'll grow larger combs and at 4-5 months they'll get plumper and red as a sign of sexual maturity.
