Plymouth rock male and female or two females?

    I am beginning to think my 5 month old Plymouth Rock is a rooster. It doesn't make any crowing noise but has a longer tail and is more aggressive than the others. [​IMG]

    I agree; with that dark barring and those rounded tail feathers, she is a pullet. She should begin laying for you before long. :eek:)

    Thanks!! Her tail just seems wy longer than my others. I have 3 BPR 1 Rhode Island. We've had eggs for a week now 11 total

    Your welcome. She's likely just maturing a little faster than the others and her aggression is way of asserting her dominance in the pecking order.
