Polish a little over 2 months

Hey everyone 😊

I have a Polish chickie that was born on May 25.. so about 2 months 1 week old.

so… based solely on these pics, what do y’all think? Am I going to get eggs from this one or a new alarm clock lol

Most polish have cockerel-looking saddle feathers. The tip off is the split crest, because hens have rounded crests and roos have spiky crests :)
The spiky crests are due to male-specific feathering, the same thing @Skyle pointed out. I would not say that most Polish have cockerel-looking saddle feathers. The pointed feathers are only present in males just as they mentioned :)
 
I've never seen a female polish having pointy saddle feathers. I'm not an expert in polishes though:idunno
I agree. My Polish had the exact same as any other hen. The only breeds that I know of that can have this are the non-molting breeds bred for long feathering like a Phoenix or Onagadori.
