Polish Chicken broody!!!!!

This is too strange, I have Cochins that will not sit and A Blue Splash Polish that is sitting right now. Polish seem to get a bad rap always classified as an ornamental bird. mine are friendly chatty and lay tons of medium size creamy pink to white eggs. I have never heard of one sitting tho i guess it happens. Has anyone else had one to sit? Will I have to get the chicks out when they are hatched or do they do well as mothers? I had a bantam Buff Laced Polish that hatched chicks. She was a great mommy!

And just when you think things are not wierd enough,A SECOND has decided to sit.When it rains it pours

Even stranger, I've heard of white leggerns going broody. The breed thats givin to never being broody

goes to show when it comes to living things there are few hard and fast rules. I never thought I'd have this happen one much less twice!
