Polish chicks... hens? roos?

    Can you tell if the Polish chicks will be hens or roos by the feathers on their head? Thanks for looking. [​IMG] Oh, also, do you think these will be Black with white crests?

    This one is the chick with less feathers on the head...CHICK 1

  2. Oh my goodness, they are soooooo cute! No idear on gender, though. You may have to wait until they are a little older and the crest either poofs up or splays back. That's the only way i know to tell. Well, that, and also listen for them to crow or not. [​IMG]

    You will have to wait until they are bigger. They're very cute. We have a bunch of Polish and they are so much fun.

    Chick #2 looks cockerel
    Should be a safe bet.

    how adorable! now I want a few (and then some more.....and more....)
    can't tell either...I concur with waiting until the crest starts to shape.

    They are all adorable... I know my white crested polish had a yellow head dress and it's just now turning white... *5 weeks old*
