I would like to know at what age will my Polish chicks start to grow in their crest feathers? I'm honestly a bit anxious and can't wait to see their crest feathers. They already are growing in their tail feathers but have yet to start seeing their crest feathers growing in

This was taken at about 3/4 weeks old. It has doubled in the last 2 to 3 weeks.

Quote:They start to come in at around week three and four, as said. [IMG] But they aren't really full until about a year old, sometimes more.

Thanks and I guess I'll have to count how many days til 3 or 4 weeks would be when they start growing their crests
