Polish Hen or Rooster?

    Can anyone tell me if my polish is a hen or rooster? It is seven weeks old. It is under the post titled day 45. www.pullet.blog.com.

    It is hard to guess from the angle, any chance you have more pictures?

    It's hard to see the crest well from that angle, though I did look through some of your other pics (too cute...and I thought my chickens were spoiled!! [​IMG]), but regardless--with those wattles, I'm pretty sure that it's a rooster.

    If it's the same one in the other pics I'm saying hen. The polish roos we've raised had less of a ball and more of a mohawk on their heads at that age.

    We have two polish. When the one with the large waddles had a mohawk until about a week ago where the other one had a ball.

    The one that is in question is named Murphy. If you go all the way back to day 26, you can see both the polish. Day 30 shows a picture farther back from her.

    I'm thinking roo, since he looks so close to mine when he was that age. The waddles do stand out too.
