Polish identifaction help please

Hi we have 9 of these little darlings I am wondering since they are so different if its possible to tell them apart? and what kind of polish are they?

I have one girl and she is sooo purdy all grown up!

Yes they are the same age half of them are small and half are large The one on the left has his head feather growing out in all directions the one on the right has his frowing straight up I just wondered if that was a characteristic of the male or female traits....

Ive noticed reading on the boards that the shorter tail is usually the roo? is this correct with all breeds?
