POLL: How much do you pay for a 50# bag of feed???

Just wanting to get some idea what is paid around the country....
We live in So. California, and to get a 50# bag of ORGANIC starter is $25
A 50# bag of ORGANIC layer is $21

Thought it would be interesting to see where it is the cheapest/most expensive!

My husband has done my feedstore shopping for me, and I think he said it was $11. Not organic though. Purina Start & Grow.

I dont use organic feed, but a 50# Bag of Chcik Sarter is $7.50, and a 50# bag of Layers is $8.50.

$9.00 for 50lbs of layer feed, $18 for 50lbs of organic layer feed.

50# of chick starter = $13.25 here in northern CA

Organic layer feed $12.50 for 50 lb, medicated starter feed for $18.00 50lbs.

The organic layer feed is from a members only co-op so I get it discounted.

I just paid $13.25 for 50# of Purina Start & Grow here in the WV panhandle.

I pay $11.95 for a 50lb. bag of chick starter in Northern Idaho.

$14 for regular #50 layer and about $15 for regular #50 chick medicated starter. I bet the organic stuff in this area is upwards of $25 a bag...

Wish there was a cheaper place to get feed here in Wa. Just 8 years ago prices were less than half that!
