    My turn at everyone's favorite game. *yippee*

    I know Black laced Wyandottes have rose combs, or are supposed too. Pepper (right) has one which is more red than Salt's (left). Pepper also has budding wattles, however no pin or saddles feathers to speak of.

    Don't mind the cord they were moved to their coop right after pictures. Only time they stay still enough for pictures is bed time.

    I say left is pullet right is cockerel. I should mention that I'm horrible identifying gender in pictures. Lol.

    agree and they are NOT black laced, they are silver laced - there is also a gold laced variety.

    They were purchased from the local feed store a month ago and were listed as Black laced, so that's what I called them. But thank you. To err is human.

    Cockerels will develop a white patch at the top of their wings. Pullets colouring will look even.

    Don't you love when things are mis-labeled!
