We were sitting out back yesterday afternoon and Sharon saw some yellow things on the ground in the Muscovy pen. There are a couple of hens sitting under the chicken house and hatched out 13 ducklings! 2 hens were sharing mother duties and they did not like me getting close to them one bit.

We just noticed yesterday they have another nest going with about 8 or so eggs in it. Nobody is sitting yet so there should be another batch end of Sept I guess. Love those Muscovies

Congratulations, but Envy, Envy, Oh I want more duckies. Soon my girls will be old enough to lay.

Has anyone noticed? The little ones that are out front, will they be the Drakes? Mine were that lead the crowd on their walk abouts, but I haven't had that many hatches.

Your family of duckies are so cute.
