I cleaned her up , soaked her vent in a warm epsom salt bath. I took prep-h and covered her vent. She is in with other hens and one rooster. I put my rooster in a big dog kennel in the coop , away from the hens. He’s not happy with me. I saw her poop when I was drying her , it looks like normal chicken poop. Not runny or an abnormal color.

This isn't uncommon, sometimes it gets stuck. Good job washing it off. You shouldn't have to worry about the rooster atm, I'd just keep an eye on her and see if it happens again.

Update on my little red hen. Her vent looks much better today. It’s actually closed up I suppose, you would say. Her vent isn’t pulsing like it was and it’s not red or irritated. I have a hen house , where three hens have been laying eggs. I have a broody hen sitting on eggs. I noticed a few days ago the others haven’t been laying in the box. I installed additional boxes yesterday. Should I be concerned that the hen with pasty vent is egg bound? I have her separated in a dog kennel in the 10x10 dog cage.
