poorly chick

can some one help me we have a poorly chick I have just checked on her and she has a lump on her neck and her eyes was cover in mud ? I have tried to clean her up took her away from the hen and in a box, with water food and bedding along with a teddy. she is all snuggled up im just trying to help her can some one please tell me if she is going to live or what u think may of happened , I found her fur on the floor next to her! she is churping and moving well jsut horrible to see her like this i am all for if i can help i will.

Did you have her with other chickens? Were they older?

Yes well she was in there with the hen and 1 other chick. our other chickens are separate.

I’m thinking that the hen tore her up. I’d suggest getting Blu-Kote to help and deter further pecking. Put her with other chicks the same age(or as close as possible) as her.

If you can put some ointment on her she should be okay. Try and rinse it off with sterile saline solution first though. Time will tell. Seems to be just a flesh wound, she should be just fine

Get her to drink, put some electrolytes in the water, try and get some food in her too
