Pop door discovery

I am in the process of building my coop. I found out that the big box stores like Menards get their lumber in with straps around them and on the underside there is a board with a groove in it to hold the strap. I think they just toss these strips of wood. The groove makes a perfect groove for a pop door to slide up and down! They charged me $.51 for the board.
