    5 week old Easter egger. Most of the chicks from the same hatch are showing red combs and some have red wattles already. I'm hoping this one is a female. She is shy so these are the best pictures I have. No sparring with the siblings and posture makes me think pullet. Any guesses? 20190624_152855.jpg 20190624_151122.jpg 20190624_152834.jpg

    You were right on my last batch so that gives me a lot of hope. Thanks!

    1, 2, & 3 are pullets. 4 & 5 are cockerels.

    Yeah! I must be getting better at distinguishing gender because that's what I thought. Thank you
    (now only 17 more to go. Lol)

    @Brahma Chicken5000
    Please one more. This one has me stumped. I want to think pullet, but until yesterday I believed it was a cockrelle because it started out bigger than the others. It occasionally spars too, but otherwise looks somewhat feminine to me. 20190625_182550.jpg 20190625_182705.jpg 20190625_182625.jpg

    Looks like a pullet to me. If you got the chicks from a farm store it’s possible that this one was a week older than the others.
