frankie, our 4 month old naked neck pullet starting being slightly solitary and lethargic a couple days ago, standing around with ruffled feathers. She seems to be eating and drinking and occasionally scratches at the ground with the others. But I noticed these bumps on her neck and one spot on her comb... could it be fowl pox?? Her poop is a little more white and sticky than usual, but all she wants to do is sleep in my lap. I have been giving her a round of corid just in case it's cocci.. and also have been cooking her scrambled egg and brewers yeast for extra B vitamin boost. Any thoughts on this appreciated!! Please help! Does this look like fowl pox? I can't find any info about it being on a chickens neck also, seems like it's usually on their comb/face... but since she's a naked neck breed, maybe she's susceptible to having bumps elsewhere?

That could be fowl pox, a virus carried by mosquitoes. But I would also look for some type of insect being in the coop area that might be causing it, such as ant bites, just in case. Pox can affect other parts of a chicken's body. Do not disturb the scabs which may spread the virus. Are you seeing any similar bites on other chickens? Here is some reading:

Thank you for all the info! No I am not seeing any similar bites on the other chickens, they all seem normal. I have taken her inside away from the others for now... how long do I need to wait? I will clean the whole coop and run out this weekend just in case.
