Im just starting out so I'm not sure if this is a problem that I need to tend to ASAP or if it's just a slow growth issue, I'm starting small just 5 RIR I got from a friend who over bought chicks (all bought at the same time), they were a few months old (I'm guessing) when I received them and all are doing pretty well so far, I just have this one bird that has a very low comb & a short wattle and a bit pale in comparison to the others, she isn't acting strange (as normal as a chicken can be, lol) or sluggish, so is there something I should be doing or will it correct itself in time??
First pic is the one in question, Patriot!
The second is one of the others, Stir Fry!

[IMG] Patriot is a pullet. Stir Fry may very well be a cockerel - picture is not definitive. Can you post a profile of Stir Fry and the other 3.

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but Patriot is your only pullet. The other four are cockerels. [IMG]

    Patriot is your lovely girl[IMG]
The others are boys, I think they all look like they are well taken care of and coming along nicely, if that helps.

Might ask your friend if they bought straight run or pullets. [IMG] Looks like you may have a few alarm clocks
