Possibly eggbound

I have a a hen around a year old (Buff Orpington) and I think she could be possibly egg bound. She free ranges for about 5 hours in the evening and is fed Purina layena pellets and they don’t receive treats very often. When I let her group out this evening I didn’t notice anything wrong with her (But I wasn’t paying attention) Maybe an hour or so later she’s standing this the yard all penguin like looking and grunting like she was about to lay an egg (this was at like 7:30 pm) I thought this was weird but didn’t want to start worrying yet so I took her inside and I could feel an egg so I took her back out and placed her into a nesting box and hoped for the best. I went out at around 9:00 to locked them up and she was roosting but there wasn’t an egg anywhere so I brought her inside once again and the eggs still in there. She isn’t squatting anymore or acting like she’s wants to lay. Is this tomorrow’s egg? Or is she egg bound?
