Yesterday was day 15 for my coturnix chicks and since then they've been in lockdown, until I opened the incubator to adjust the humidity as it was going above 75 percent. I also took one egg out to inspect it for cracks, I saw a tiny little crack on the bottom of the egg, just 2 faint lines. It didn't occur to me that it was a bad idea at the time because I was so curious but now im worried sick that I might have shrinked wrapped them. (Time when the eggs went in, 9pm aug 7,) (lockdown day 15 was on aug 23) (time of incubator opening to check on the eggs was around 7:40 aug 24) Relative humidity in the incubator was 75- to 78. Im also a bit worried that i might have accidentally drowned some chicks too because of the extremely high humidity. The humidity over the course of the past 15 days ranged from 45-65 percent humidity

It will be fine. Most quail eggs hatch like clockwork, 1 or 2 hatch day 17; most hatch on day 18; and then a couple stragglers on day 19 and then they're done. :)
