Oh geez! How cute!
I might have to get some buttons. So are most hens broody or were you just lucky with yours? I'm unfamiliar with buttons. I only have coturnix and I'm still learning about them.
Here's some of my babies....
I think you probably saw mine on the Nov. swap thread, but I've got pics on my pages too
Too many to post them again lol
Here's one of my gambel roos
And a velley rooster
A valley hen
Blue scaled playing peekaboo

I have a ton of pics of my coturnixes, but this is one of my favs
Im pretty new to buttons myself, this is my first hatch. I've heard some people say that buttons arnt very broody, but someone with more experience might be able to tell you if thats true or not.
Either way i still think im super lucky, mine are great parents.
more of my lil ones..
and one of their Hen Mrs Quail
OK, may have to get some Valley's too-just beautiful!
Quote:I absolutely love my valleys! I'm so happy that some of their eggs are hatching this week, I can't wait to see what their babies will look like! I'll have to post some more pics of the parents and the chicks when they hatch
How about I do a test hatch for you and I won't even charge you a thing since it's so close to Christmas....
No seriously.... I may have to get some eggs...no, I don't dare. I'd get myself into trouble if I needed another pen built, though I could just divide my one in half...hmmmm
I'm out of control so I've been told.
Heehee, sure! How kind of you to offer!
Anyways, one of my valley chicks hatched this morning!!
It's so tiny...but there will be more joining him/her over this week.
Here are some more pics of the parents:
