I think it would be cool to have a thread where everyone can post photos of goslings you’ve hatched or received this year.

Has anyone been trying new breeding pairs, breeding for select colors? Stuff like that.

I will start with a small pile of mixed breed geese. (Embden, American Buffs, African, Tolouse). I’m looking to have more eggs from the African type geese but want larger bodied birds for meat. Just started experimenting really.

This group includes (3) French Toulouse & (5) Sebbies, the sebbies should be a mix of grey and splash. I normally do smaller groups of goslings, but thought it’d be better to rip the bandaid off and have them all at once….I will not be doing this again lol also on the way are four Africans, now those I’m SOOO excited for!! The huge dewlap, stately posture, they look right out of a Baroque painting.
