Potential chicke owner

Hello everyone. I'm hoping I'll be able to start rasing my own chickens soon. I live in Alaska and am concerned about problems during the winter seasons. I'm so thankful I came across this site. I look forward to learning all I can from you all.

If you go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum you can locate and post on the Alaska thread. This would put you in touch with people that deal with your climate on a daily basis. They are best suited to advise you.
