Potting Soil

    I had some plants in my brooder to keep my animals out of. My rabbit got on the porch and at them all then the goats got in and knocked the pots down.
    JUST in time to put my babies in [​IMG]



    Can I put them down on potting soil?

    Its just dirt, and dirt don't hurt?

    THe potting soil doesnt have the vermeculite or the fertilizer pellets, right?

    Then I would think it would be fine, since the momma hen would be teaching the chicks to peck at the ground, right?
