Im decently good with illnesses and diseases in poultry, comment any diseases your flock/bird has, or symptoms of a bird that you want to know what it is, or looking for a cure.

im the best at chickens, but im also decent at ducks, geese, guinea fowls and turkeys. Before commenting anything, please fill out this list below if you have symptoms youd like to know the cure for or know what disease it could be. *If you know the disease you can comment it and ill figure out if its correct and what you may use to treat it* yes i am good at serious situations, if your bird is in need of serious emergancy of course take it to a vet, but if not available as a first option i can help as best i can on the spot, i respond fairly quick ready to help in action, *Most likely will need a photo*

Hi Chickenpoppy,

So great you brought your bag of experience to BYC!

If you are a Poultry or waterfowl pro / very good amateur it's maybe an good idea to comment regularly on topics in the Emergency/diseases/injuries and cures forum
That way you will get known for your knowledge and before you know you will get tagged more often than you are able to answer!

There is a list like yours here:

Which can be used by people posting an emergency/disease or illness related question in earlier mentioned forum

I have a fairly new flock (about 12 or so weeks old). About 3-4 weeks ago one died for no apparent reason. I didn’t see any symptoms of any kind. Then last week I had one go lame on one leg. I was moving them into a bigger area while we are working on their permanent run/coop. Within 24 hours that one died as well. This morning I went out to feed and another one seems to be lame on one side. She won’t put her left leg down and has taken to sitting instead of running around like the others. What’s going on?
