Power Outage Killed The Eggs

    53 hours of no electricity killed 84 eggs. Too sad for words. Lost bantam wyandottes, orps and rose comb rir.

    Ive had them make it threw 24 hours of no power. 53? Wow! sorry

    backup power supplies are avaiable for all computers, and audio needs. I always suggest if you are incubating to have one on hand.

    I'm so sorry! I know how you feel! I lost 10 from my last hatch because we lost power at lockdown/day 18. We came home to no power from visiting the inlaws. Got the generator going but it was to late...

    I am so sorry [​IMG] [​IMG]

    I spent the wee hours of friday morning, middle of a howling snow storm, on the couch with 13 Bantam cochin chicks huddled under a blanket with me when our power went out. Luckily it was just for a short time (hour or so).
