Ugh... I need some advice here.

I am on Day 10, using a Hovabator 1588. All has been ok - I candled on Day 7 and saw some development on some of the eggs. We lost power last night around 1:00AM. None of my existing chickens are broody, and I didn't know what to do, so I put the 20 eggs into egg cartons and brought them to bed, sticking them under the sheets under my legs, between my arms. I know that sounds silly, but..... We got power back at 7:00 am, and I put them back in the incubator. The eggs never were cold, but definitely were not at the 100 degrees that they should have been.

Is all a lost cause? Should I toss them all? Should I candle again in a few days and see if there is movement? If there is, are the chicks going to be ok?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks -
