My darling son, 20 years old, has been in a band for YEARS now, and they are playing at a church tonight. After all my praying for this kid, one his friends had the intestinal fortitude to tell my son that he needs to leave the band, focus on himself and become the man they all know he can be.

HE LISTENED TO THAT GUY!!!!! His last show is tonight, and he is going back to college on Monday. THANK YOU LORD!!!

My brother had one of those phases too. He was in a band, they were awful, he was worse. He came to his senses, went back to school, got his chemical engineering degree.

Wow, your son has got to be pretty darn smart to see beyond the 'now', realize his future is in his own hands, and have the maturity to act on it. You must be tremendously proud.
