Last night at around midnight the Welsummers in my brooder started going crazy. I ran out to investigate and saw a possum trying to break in through the top. I looked for a rock or something solid to throw but I couldn't find anything. Then I saw a metal hose coupler (spiked at the bottom so you can stick it in your lawn) on the ground. I launched it, hoping to hit the possum and make it run off, but my aim was accidentally too good.

You must have some serious arm strength! At least it was an instant kill and you saved your little ones.

What a throw, I'd hit the coop window or something.
