new to owning chickens, my four year year old got 4 rhode island reds for her birthday, everything was going great until last night, I went to their coop this morning and all four were killed, two were without their heads, we forgot to close their small door that they use to go from the coop to their run, I'm in a small rural neighborhood with a fully fenced back yard, I'm thinking the predator was a racoon or something in the weasel family?? any thoughts?

I would guess raccoon. They kind of like to tear them up. For future FYI, they also like to tear their limbs off if they can reach them through the wire. I'm sorry for your loss.

racoon for sure they take the heads off and weasel will leave just fang marks
