Hi everyone,
So I have 5 hens living in a big coop. We use to have 10 so it’s pretty big for them. When we built the coop we had cement blocks built around the sides of the coop, not like a floor of cement blocks but just the perimeter. I am starting to think it’s not the safest. We do have possums, coyotes and more and I don’t think my chickens are safe. What the problem is is that the cement blocks are easy to go around... they aren’t deep enough. Any recommendations on how deep the blocks or whatever we use should be? What should we use to make it deeper? And just any ideas on this would be great... it’s giving me a lot of stress knowing my chickens aren’t safe
should we just unbury the sand inside the coop and put cement blocks as a floor and then put sand?
