Pregnant or just fat? Warning! Goat butts! lol

I have very little experience with goat but when we got a goat from a friend and she looked a lot like that. We too thought she was pregnant but after she let loose with enough fertilizer for several yards, she was all skinny again. Apparently this particular goat was very fond of grain and ate too much which bloated her out.

I would give her a couple of days of simple diet and see if it goes down or you could always feel around and see if there is movement or "leg" poking the sides.

That is a pretty typical look for goats that are not pregnant. But that does not mean that this one is not! If she starts to look bigger in a few weeks, and you might take pics from this angle for comparison, then she probably is "with goat". Good luck!

She doesn't look pregnant - she probably is just a little on the overweight side, which is normal for young females

looks like a regular goat with a well developed rumen... preggies pushes the right side out and down... but did she run wiht a buck? has she cycled in season yet? when was her last season? surely someone can answer u,; if u bought her from a private person and not some kind of auction.
