Pretty sight in the nest box!

    Just had to send a pic of what we are seeing in the nest box each day. I have 5 hens around 5 months old 4 are laying the last one keeps going into the next box so she'll be laying soon. Sure love my chickens!

    Isn't it great! I have 6 of 7 laying now...still waiting on my EE and hoping hers are not brown like all of my others. I will be happy with whatever color she lays, but really would like like another color.

    She does look like she's saying that! I made a door on the outside of the nest box. It seems like I disturb them from time to time. I have two leghorns and they are the most tame birds I have ever owned!

    I've seen this several times what is an EE? I can't figure out the breed.

    Thanks! That was going to drive me nuts until I figured that one out. I have 2 Red Stars, 1 RIR, and my two white Leghorns. A very happy bunch of girls!
